Belen ilçesinin Amanos Dağları'nın yüksek kesimlerindeki Çerçikaya Mevkii'nde, operasyona giden jandarma ekibini taşıyan askeri aracın devrilmesi sonucu şehit olan Jandarma Uzman Çavuş Bünyamin Dinç'in şehadet haberini, Kurbanbaba Mahallesi'nde yaşayan baba Osman Dinç ile anne Zeynep Dinç'e askeri yetkililer verdi. Oğullarının ölüm haberini alan anne ve baba gözyaşı döktü. Şehit haberinin duyulması üzerine çok sayıda vatandaş, Dinç Ailesi'nin evine akın etti. Şehidin evi ile sokağına Türk bayrakları asıldı.
