Gaziantep Stadyumu, Türkiye’nin Gaziantep şehrinde yer alan ve Gaziantepspor’un iç saha maçlarını oynadığı 35.574 koltuk kapasiteli stadyumdur.
UEFA kriterlerine uygun, 35.574 kapasiteli olarak tasarlanan stadyumun, ulusal ve uluslararası futbol müsabakalarına da ev sahipliği yapması beklenmektedir.
Stadyum büyüklüğü, Gaziantep Stadyumu’nun dış cephesi, Gaziantep ilinin sembollerinden olan baklavayı simgelemesi için çapraz çizgilerle tasarlanmıştır. Dünyanın en büyük mozaik müzesi Zeugma’ya ev sahipliği yapan Gaziantep’te inşa edilen stadyum, kentin gelişimi için de önemli bir mimari yapı olacaktır. Gaziantep’in Şehitkamil ilçesi Beylerbeyi mahallesinde Gençlik ve Spor Bakanlığına devredilen 106.000 m2 lik arazide yer alan stadyum, karayollarıyla olan bağlantısı, sanayi ve konut bölgeleri arasında bağlantı noktası oluşturan bölgede yer alacak stadyuma farklı ulaşım araçları ile de ulaşım sağlanmaktadır.
Sanayi ve konut bölgelerinin birleşim noktasında yerleşen yapı, iki dokunun etkileşiminde de rol oynayacaktır. Stadyumun inşasının tamamlanması ile birlikte çevrede köklü bir kentsel gelişim hareketinin odak noktası haline gelmesi hedeflenmiştir.
Antep’te hakim Akdeniz ikliminin gözükmesinden dolayı cephenin güney kısımlarında güneş kırıcıları kullanılmıştır. Kırmızı ve siyah renklerin belli bir uyum içinde cepheye yerleşimi tasarlandı. Stadyumun, mozaikleri andıran dış görünümüyle şehrin tarihi kültürünü yansıtması planlanmıştır. Her tribün altında, izleyiciler için yeterli sayıda wc ve büfe alanları planlamıştır. Konforlu ulaşım için yeterli otopark alanları da tasarımın önemli bir girdisini oluşturur. Stadyumun tribün altları, bireysel branşlar için kullanılacak 12 spor salonuyla değerlendirilecektir.
Not: 15 Ocak 2017’de, Spor Toto Süper Lig 2016-17 sezonu 17. haftasındaki Gaziantepspor-Antalyaspor maçıyla kapılarını açtı.
