"Valse" adlı şarkısı ile gönüllerde taht kuran genç piyanist Evgeny Grinko, 1 Mart 2019'da GAÜN Mâvera KSM Salonu Gaziantep’te.
İlk bestesini 16 yaşında iken üyesi olduğu bir punk grubu için yapan Grinko, bestelerini bu zamanda dinlediğinde kendisine ait olduğuna inanamasa da punk onun için müziğe ilk adım. Piyano ile klasik müziğe geçmesi ise 24 yaşında minimalist müziğe duyduğu merakla ve piyano çalmayı öğrenmesiyle başlıyor. Grinko, büyüdüğü ülke ve kültürden büyük izler taşıyor ve bunları bestelerine aktarıyor. Evgeny’nin Zhukovsky’de bestelediği ve tek başına kaydedip mixlediği Cinematic Melodies EP’sinin (2009) kapanış şarkısı Morning in Pripyat, Kuzey Ukrayna’da bulunan Pripyat şehrini anlatıyor. Pripyat 1970‘de Çernobil Nükleer Santrali çalışanları için inşa edildi. Son olarak kayıtlarını İstanbul’da gerçekleştirdiği Silent Like Water adlı kısa albüm yayınlayan sanatçı bu kısa albümde Lev Knipper’in Polyushko Polye eserini Field adıyla yorumlamıştı.Dinleyenleri düşsel yolculuklara çıkaran tarzı ve duygusal bestelerle dolu iki albümü "Cinematic Melodies" ve "Winter Sunshine" ile kazandığı ünü, "Valse" adlı şarkısıyla pekiştiren sanatçı, bu şarkısıyla YouTube'da 10.000.000'dan fazla görüntülenme rekoru kırıyor. Moskova'nın yakınında Zhukovsky adlı küçük bir kasabadan çıkan fakat kısa sürede adını tüm dünyaya duyuran genç piyanist, geniş bir keman ailesi ve akordeoncu 5 müzisyen ile sahne alıyor. Evgeny Grinko, konserlerinde piyano haricinde gitarda ve davulda da hünerlerini gösteriyor.
