Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyesi Sanat ve Meslek Eğitim Kursları (GASMEK); Gaziantep Büyükşehir Belediyesi Sağlık ve Sosyal Hizmetler Daire Başkanlığı, Meslek Edindirme ve Eğitim Şube Müdürlüğü´ne bağlı olarak faaliyet göstermektedir.
GASMEK, 2015 yılının Ocak ayında 9 kurs merkezi ile faaliyete geçmiş olup,
2016 döneminde 22 kurs merkezi sayısına,
2017 döneminde ise 25 kurs merkezi sayısına ulaşılmıştır.
Şu anda 25 kurs merkezimizde toplam 208 derslik faaliyettedir.
- 2014 - 2015 eğitim öğretim dönemi kursiyer sayısı: 15.383´tür.
- 2015 - 2016 eğitim öğretim dönemi kursiyer sayısı: 36.083´tür.
- 2016 - 2017 eğitim öğretim dönemi kursiyer sayısı: 49.538´dir.
- 2017 - 2018 eğitim öğretim dönemi kursiyer sayısı: 65.128´dir.
